Following a discussion with Kate Underwood, who runs her own HR & Training Consultancy business, it was clear that Kate needed our SEO expertise! However, Kate did not have the luxury of a monthly budget for us to do the work for her, so we asked Kate to come into our office to have a couple of hours training with Shawn, our SEO and AdWords expert.
In brief, the training included outlining the SEO changes and updates that have happened over the last 2 to 3 years along with recommendations of where Google is planning to go. Being a Google Partner Agency, we are aware how quickly Google change search terms etc. to keep everyone on their toes! In the meeting, Shawn emphasied to Kate the importance of relevancy both on a website and in all content; and looked at how it impacts costs for online advertising campaigns. On receiving feedback from Kate, she was very pleased with her training with Shawn and even though there was lots for her to take in and learn, she's already put some actions in place.
