bandv were delighted to be able to support the Honeypot Children’s Charity by designing the tickets and ball booklet for their recent Honeypot Ball, held on Saturday 3rd February. The event turned out to be a huge success and raised over £11,600 of funds for the charity in total.
Honeypot enhances the lives of young carers and vulnerable children aged between 5-12 years old by providing respite breaks and on-going outreach support. Honeypot gives young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provides a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.
Having previously supported the Honeypot charity with the design and printing of the programme for their annual Christmas Carol concert, bandv were more than happy to help support the charity in the promotion of their charity ball.
bandv’s Graphic Designer Sally Berkeley designed all the artwork for the Honeypot Ball booklet and ticket. Sally says that she thoroughly enjoyed working on the project which took around a month to complete.
“We were delighted to help The Honeypot Children’s Charity. Not only did we get a warm fuzzy feeling from supporting such a worthy cause , but the event turned out really well and raised a huge amount of money for the charity."
Sally worked on the project with Kate Browning, the charity’s Regional Fundraising Manager who was over the moon with the results.
“The Honeypot Ball was a huge success and we’ve received some great feedback. We are over the moon with the huge amount raised as it will be enough to support 22 children for a whole year. A huge thanks to bandv for their support and Sally was an absolute star!”
The Honeypot Ball will be a bi-annual event with the next one due to be held in 2020 but the much-loved annual Christmas carol concert will be back this year and bandv will once again be supporting the children’s charity with the materials for the event.
