Our latest Solent HUG (HubSpot User Group) meeting was another roaring success and it was great to see a mixture of familiar faces alongside some new ones on the day.
On Wednesday 14th March, marketers, sales professionals, business owners, HubSpot users and inbound enthusiasts got together at the Overstrand café, part of the Urban Reef venue in Bournemouth, for the latest HUG event.
Held in partnership with Lexis Click Marketing Agency, this was bandv’s 6th Solent HUG meeting. Dedicated to educating and inspiring delegates, as well as sharing knowledge about best practice in the areas of inbound marketing and sales, the HUG’s offer attendees the chance to find out how to grow their inbound network in a friendly and informal setting.
Our HUG events are always hugely popular, and this time was no exception. There was time to chat and take in the sea views over tea, coffee and a delicious display of cakes before the morning’s event got into full swing.
After a brief introduction to the HUG by Lexis Click's Stephen Bavister and bandv’s MD Ross Breckenridge, the pair gave a powerful presentation on the importance of lead-nurturing and how the tools found within HubSpot can help to facilitate this.
HubSpot’s Inbound Marketing & Business Strategies Coach Sam Hirbod then gave an interesting and insightful talk on the future of content and how we will work with it going forwards. HubSpot expert Sam tackled this idea by exploring current trends and advising how we can begin to prepare for the future of content.
The HUG concluded with an open discussion, giving delegates the chance to share their own experiences and listen to any successes or lessons learned by peers and we’ve already received some fantastic feedback.
