B&V has been busy helping PureGym to launch their new 24/7 Gym in Bitterne.
Following a £1 million investment in the site on Bitterne Road, the location of the former bowling alley, PureGym has regenerated the 20,000 sq ft building to create a new state-of-the-art gymnasium, creating a number of new jobs in the process.
PureGym offers members 24-hour access, by issuing them with a unique pin and using the latest in security technologies to allow them to train at a time to suit them. They have also done away with expensive and restricting contracts, allowing users to purchase one month’s gym use at a time. To find out more about PureGym, visit www.puregym.co.uk
Armorgard are a local company who supply a wide range of site security products – mainly secure storage boxes, but lots of other things as well – to the construction trade. It's a competitive market with some big players offering stiff competition and we had to ensure that Armorgard's offerings were pitched in there with the best of them. With a broad range of products on offer, we wanted to make it easy for customers to explore not only the wider range, but also the individual features of a given product. So we've employed a number of strategies in various areas of the site, including embedded video, pop-over detail panels and product-based tabsets. As a leading provider of CRM solutions throughout the UK and beyond, empath-e overcame stiff competition to win the prestigious 2010 Sage Award for ‘Extraordinary Customer Service’. B&V was delighted to play a supportive role in helping empath-e go the extra distance to put a polished product before the Sage judges – as Mike Spragg enthuses: "Thanks for your efforts – we won! I’m really very pleased as you can imagine – but I do believe the format had quite a bit to do with it as well". ![]() |
Back in 2008 B&V celebrated its 25th year in business. Not wanting to let such an auspicious occasion pass by, we decided to get involved with a local charity. We approached Honeypot, a brilliant organisation which helps children who are also carers, and offered them our services free for a year. We were delighted to be able to raise their profile considerably. Starting with a balloon launch at Business South (who subsequently adopted them as their chosen charity for 2009), we created newsletters, e-news, programs and invites to fundraising events. Best of all, we have continued to support this excellent charity through 2010 and are more involved than ever. For more information visit www.honeypot.co.uk |
During the later half of 2010 we have been busy rolling out the new Stannah brand for their wide range of commercial lift products. Along with completely rebranding their website and handling the SEO/SEM, we’ve redesigned product literature, advertising and above- and below-the-line customer-facing material. Looking forward, we will be consolidating the new brand and moving forward with it to deliver a strong, consistent image to their commercial customers.
